Attracting Trucks for LPG Transportation

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a versatile and efficient energy source used worldwide for various applications. This clean and flexible fuel is a mixture of propane and butane, liquefied under high pressure and stored in special cylinders and tanks. It requires strict adherence to safety standards and regulations.

Kian Petroleum proudly announces its commitment to safety by utilizing standard semi-trailers and fully complying with safety principles. We are seeking collaboration with independent truck owners for the safe and reliable transportation of LPG. Below, we outline safety guidelines and collaboration conditions for attracting trucks for LPG transport.

Standards and Safety Requirements

  • Equipping gas transport semi-trailers with advanced safety systems such as braking systems (A.B.S) and rollover prevention programs (R.S.P)
  • Standardizing liquid gas transport tanks
  • 9mm thick tank walls for gas tanker trailers
  • Installing hazardous material signs and labels
  • Using powder and gas fire extinguishing devices
  • Regular inspection of wheels and tires
  • Comprehensive evaluation of selected drivers and specialized training to ensure safety
  • Providing necessary training to drivers introduced by the truck owner

Shipping conditions

  • Loading points are from all state-owned and private gas refineries across the country, such as the Yezd and South Pars refineries, to destinations at border terminals with Pakistan, such as Rimdan and Pishin, and border terminals with Afghanistan, such as Dogharoon and Mahiroud
  • The freight rates for the trucks are determined based on the latest approved rates by the Transportation Association. Payments are settled on a per-service basis
  • The cost of the domestic transport bill from the refinery to the border delivery point is the responsibility of the truck. In the case of cross-border transport, the cost of the transport bill and the issuance of the CMR is the responsibility of the company
  • The costs related to accessories and wear and tear of the gas transport tanker during the contract period are the responsibility of the company. However, any depreciation caused by the fault of the driver or the truck owner is their own responsibility
  • The check and delivery point for gas transport semi-trailers is located in the city of Yazd. This location has been selected as a key point to optimize the transportation processes
  • There is free parking available for semi-trailers belonging to trucks in the Kian Petroleum Company parking lot located in Yazd. This facility helps reduce parking costs for drivers.
  • The company does not pay any gratuity or demurrage fees at the loading and unloading points
